Anne Stone
Director of Communications
Anne is responsible for print and web parish publications, as well as any other communications-related requests that come her way.
Anne has a BA in cultural anthropology from Bryn Mawr College, an MA in creative nonfiction writing from Johns Hopkins University, and an MA in publications design from the University of Baltimore. After a brief stint as a technical writer for a computer game company, she spent twelve years in educational publishing, including jobs with Maryland Public Television and the National Geographic Society, before coming to St. Columba’s in June 2008.
A native of Massachusetts, Anne lives in Takoma, DC, with her husband and their young daughter. She is a lifelong Episcopalian and current member of St. Paul’s Parish, K Street, where her husband is the curate.
