At St. Columba’s, we take seriously a commitment to making our facilities and activities accessible to people of all abilities—from our youngest members on up.
This means that our playground provides a range of options for children so that all can have a rich outdoor experience no matter their skills or abilities. It means that our Children’s Ministries work with those who have special needs (and their families) to ensure that they have the necessary support to participate fully in our worship and community life. And it means that the nursery school incorporates into its very mission the principle of inclusion and the celebration of each person’s God-given and unique abilities.
St. Columba’s also offers other support for people with disabilities, including large-print worship materials, listening enhancement devices and wheelchair accessible seating.
