Join or start a SPARK group

Let's be active in service together.
You've probably heard about the launch of “Light the Fire!” (our year-long effort to inspire and initiate a new era of active service in our community). We are beginning that effort with the formation of SPARK groups, or small groups of parishioners who will gather in the coming weeks and months for the simple purpose of collective service and intentional reflection on the meaning of that service.
Several SPARK groups are already forming, and others are encouraged. Groups may focus on a particular service need or develop their focus along the way. There is no required schedule of meetings or number of volunteer events. SPARK groups can decide what works for their members. The important thing is for everyone to participate in some way, no matter how small.
If you are interested in forming a group, send an e-mail to lightthefire@columba.org and let us know the details (or ask us for some suggestions of how to get started).
