Nov. 28, 2011—With great sadness we report the death of Chris Ma on Nov. 23. The immediate cause of death was a heart attack, but Chris had been recently diagnosed with metastatic sarcoma.
Chris had gone to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center for a consultation and began having chest pains in the office. He died later that day. Click here for a link to his obituary.
Chris and his spouse, Nathalie Gilfoyle, are members of St. Columba’s, but because Chris was a Quaker, the memorial service will be held at Sidwell Friends School (3825 Wisconsin Avenue NW). It is scheduled for Sat., Dec. 17, at 11 am, in the Robert L. Smith Meeting Room.
