Jan. 25—Parishioner Martha Hunt died very unexpectedly on Mon., Jan. 23. Martha had some ongoing medical conditions, but at this point the cause of death has not been determined.
Martha’s daughter, Phoebe Mejia, has been very active in our youth programs. Please keep Phoebe and the rest of the family in your prayers.
A memorial service was held at St. Columba’s on Fri., Jan. 27, at 4 pm.
May Martha’s soul, and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Mama Lucia's Fundraiser, Wed., Feb. 8
The B-CC Crew team is holding a fundraiser on Wed., Feb. 8, for the Phoebe Mejia Education Fund by eating dinner at Mama Lucia's Restaurant (4916 Elm St., Bethesda; 301-907-3399). Eat in or carry out from 4 pm to close. Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Phoebe Mejia Education Fund—but you must remember to tell your server that you are dining on behalf of B-CC Crew.
