Opportunities for prayer in this election
St Columba's
St. C's will have prayer opportunities throughout elction week to encourage and help with spiritual grounding and community during this time.
- Monday, November 4th 6:00 pm prayer
- Tuesday, November 5th 5:00 pm-7:00 pm Outdoor Labyrinth walk
- Wednesday, November 7th 6:00pm prayer
Additionally St. C's will be open for prayer during the day on Tuesday
Washington Interfaith Network (WIN)
Sunday, November 3rd Washington Interfaith Network Vigil at 5:00 pm. This event is an opportunity for people of all backgrounds, faith traditions, and people who believe in the common good to gather together to reflect, pray, and center ourselves on the values that sustain us amid the uncertainty and pain within our nation and our world. The Cathedral
The Cathedral will be open for prayer and meditation on Election Day as votes are casted, and on the day after as votes are counted. You may view the schedule here.
Virtual Opportunity
Everyone is invited to join Election Night Virtual Prayers hosted by The Episcopal Church Office of Government Relations from 8 to 10 pm on November 5. Bishop Sean Rowe, who will become presiding bishop on November 1, will offer an opening reflection and prayer.
