It is my great joy to welcome you! Your presence here is a gift.
St. Columba’s is a lively community of faith engaged in many ministries. We’re glad you’ve found us and look forward to welcoming you and learning more about you!
Whether you are new to the area or just to St. Columba’s, whether you are familiar with the Episcopal Church or have never attended church before, we know it can be a challenge to make your way into a new faith community. Answers to all your questions are just a click away.
We are here for you! As the Spirit moves you, we invite you to join us this season and in all the seasons of your life. Participate with us and share the story of God’s love. We believe God is always offering love in ever-widening circles of embrace, drawing all people and all creation into one. (At St. Columba’s) we try to reflect and embody God’s embrace as we welcome one another, seek the face of God and respect the dignity and integrity of every person, and become beloved community. Whoever you are, and whatever journey you’ve been on, you are welcome at St. Columba’s. We come in every shape, color, age, gender, and household relationship; some of us are seasoned Christians and life-long Episcopalians; many of us found our way from different backgrounds; most of us are seeking to grow in faithfulness, asking questions, striving to create a just society, and eager to Live God’s Love day by day. Join us. Together we celebrate and bless the pivotal moments in our lives as sacraments. St. Columba’s is a church on a mission to Live God’s Love. We approach our relationships and ministries with integrity and humility as we seek to embody and share God’s love in a changing world. Our clergy help proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through their words and actions. Our staff helps us to meet strategic priorities. The vestry is the agent and legal representative of the parish in all matters concerning its corporate property and the relations of the parish to its clergy. In our Episcopal tradition and following the inspiration of St. Columba, all are called to ministry according to the gifts given to them, to carry on Christ's work of reconciliation in the world; and to take their place in the life, worship, and governance of the Church. Here are the many ways in which St. Columbans step into ministry.New Here?
