Mothers' Group
The Mothers’ Group seeks to strengthen our faith by sharing our experiences as mothers, and meets in fellowship to discuss the realities of motherhood – both the challenges and the blessings – and to hear from guest speakers on topics such as spirituality, the practice of faith, parenting, and work/life balance.
Gatherings include: weekly discussions or speaker programs Wednesdays during the school year from 10:00-11:30am at the church), potluck dinners (several per year on weekday evenings, rotating at mothers’ homes), a retreat (often in the winter or spring, either at church or offsite) and ad hoc group outings.

Saturday Morning Walks
Meet up every other Saturday morning at 7am (1st date is Saturday, September 11th) at Great Falls or along the canal. Many of us have loved these walks this past year -- we've had 3-20 moms join in different weeks.
We will follow all St. Columba guidelines, including encouraging vaccinations and wearing masks while indoors. And we will continue to be flexible!

Minister for Member Engagement 202-363-4119, EXT. 212 St. Columba's has been a tremendous blessing to our family. The Mother's Group and the nursery school were our entrance into the church many years ago and have been active across a variety of ministries. As the Minister for Member Engagement I am fortunate to work, learn and grow alongside a talented and hardworking team. It is my hope that I can support parishioners as well as welcome new people into the life and ministries of our faithful congregation. I look forward to connecting and supporting you, as you feel the love and spirit of God working through you, in our church and in the broader community.Courtney Hundley
