Our Future Church
We’re thinking through some new ideas for our church: what could it look like in the future? How might we be called to minister as the church of the future? What could we change? How can we take the buildings and grounds we have and make something even better from them?
We have set out some of the ideas we have received from our community. Take a look at the brochure below with our thoughts on different directions we could take.
St. Columba’s plays a vital role in Tenleytown. We are committed to being good neighbors and to strengthening this community. We respect the fact that our neighbors will have all manner of ideas and opinions about anything we do with our property.
Earlier in 2023, we held meetings with a wide range of parishioners and neighbors, and we are sorting through the feedback. In 2024, we expect to come up with new plans and we will reach out to engage with local individuals, community institutions, and businesses. Expect to hear more from us!
